Role Hierarchy

The role hierarchy (from highest to lowest permissions):

  1. Owner (Level 4) - Full control

  2. Admin (Level 3) - Management capabilities

  3. Editor (Level 2) - Content creation and editing

  4. Viewer (Level 1) - Read-only access

Special Rules

Owner Restrictions

  • ❌ Cannot leave workspace (must transfer ownership first)

  • ✅ At least one Owner required per workspace

  • ✅ Only role that can manage other Owners and Admins

Admin Restrictions

  • ❌ Cannot manage other Admins or Owners

  • ❌ Cannot grant Owner or Admin roles

  • ✅ Can only remove or change roles for Editors and Viewers

Editor Capabilities

  • ✅ Can create, edit, and delete all posts

  • ✅ Can manage social account connections

  • ❌ Cannot manage workspace members or settings

Viewer Limitations

  • ✅ Read-only access to workspace

  • ✅ Can view all posts and analytics

  • ❌ Cannot create, edit, or delete content

  • ❌ Cannot manage social accounts
